Friendship Meets Innovation
SnapLux Towel was born out of a strong friendship and a shared passion for solving everyday problems. Mike and Roman had been friends for years, sharing countless beach days, laughs, and “what if” conversations. In August 2024, they decided to go from best friends, to business partners by launching a company together, with one clear mission: to perfect the beach chair experience and make beach lounging simpler, safer, and less frustrating for everyone.
The Lightbulb Moment
The idea for SnapLux started with a single, frustrating moment for Mike. After repeatedly struggling to adjust his beach towel and witnessing his daughter get her hair caught in a heavy-duty towel clip, he realized there had to be a better way. Determined to solve this problem, Mike engineered a clip-free prototype that would stay securely in place without causing any hassles or injuries. Excited by the concept, he brought it to Roman, and together they refined the design, tested different fabrics and snap systems, and ultimately created the SnapLux Towel we know today.
